Turkey Haze

My sneaky plan of reading a few papers and doing some writing while at my in-laws for Thanksgiving has miserably failed. As if I weren't sleepy enough from all the turkey, simply opening a boring heavily written article would do the trick.

A highlight of the trip so far has been... biking. Hubby and I brought our bikes, and have been riding them every day (the weather has been great!). We biked over to Grandma's for one of the meals, and then had to fight the sleepiness on the ride back. On one of our bike rides, we saw an oncoming bicyclist and politely all got in a row to let the man pass us. After passing him, with a 2-second turkey haze delay, each one of us came to a screeching halt as we realized who the bicyclist was. It would be quite funny to open a local newspaper the following day and read about a 4-bicycle pile-up caused by a former presidential candidate :)
