Can it be any colder in my office?

Yes, that means I am in the lab. There is like one other student around, and I should have scored major brownie points by running into Advisor earlier today (Advisor is off now too).

As I type this, I am wearing my jacket (fully zipped), have an electric heater oh high right beside me, and I am still wishing I could type in gloves. Why, oh why, is the air conditioning on in this building when it is freezing outside?!?

I wish I could work from home without being distracted by my unsent Christmas cards and unfinished Christmas shopping and wrapping. But I know I can't, so I am stuck here freezing.

Sorry to hear you are stuck in the lab- and that it is cold there! Stay warm and good luck with the unfinished stuff! I have a lot of that left too but have given up work for the week in order to get it done =)

and this is the reason I bought fingerless gloves.
Are you sure the AC is on? I assumed they just turn off the heat when school is on break.
Hope you are productive today! Drink lots of warm liquids.

Albatross - yeah, Xmas errands are overrated! The good thing is, they will be over soon!

Jennie - I am absolutely sure the AC is on: the vent is right above me! Fingerless gloves sound good, as does a hot tea...
