My campus is deserted. No need to dodge students that jump out in front of my car without even looking. I can pick my own parking spot regardless of the time of day. No lines in sandwich/coffee shops. Can it be heaven?
But while everyone seems to have gone on spring break, I am certainly still here. So much to do, so little time. The lack of blogging is not due to lack of material, rather it is due to the fact that what is bothering me most these days is unblogable. Relevant to grad school experience, a tough problem for me as a particular grad student, yet in the interest of self-preservation I think I better not get into it. Please tell me there will be a day this will all be over. Pretty please?

The deserted campus does sound heavenly!
I hope the unbloggables resolve themselves. You will come through this for sure.
There will be a day, but do you want to wait for it? Can you do something to make the day come quicker? (seeing that I don't know what day we are looking forward to I can't give any advice here).
Deserted Campuses are awesome! The buses are actually ontime because there are no inane students leaping in front of them in their rush to go...to lunch.
I remember fondly the peace of Spring Break. In fact, it happens (to a lesser degree) at my workplace now, when everyone's kids have spring break.
Sorry about the unbloggable situation and I hope you know if you need any advice from a former Ph.D. student such as myself, you know my email address :)
Thanks, everybody. I know the day will come, I just wish it would come sooner.
Jennie, I think the day in question is likely to coincide with my graduation date, although I am trying to make some of the issues end sooner.
Hermitage - our buses didn't run during the break at all!
Rebecca - thanks! I might actually take you up on that offer some day!
