The dotted line

Well, it seems that I finally have my contract for the summer. Yay! The informal offer was extended awhile ago, but there is nothing like a legal contract!

This is a much more complicated arrangement than an internship (and more long term), and, as far as I can tell, not a common one, so more blog posts will be forth coming. For now, let me just say that:
  • I am very excited about this research opportunity;
  • I have to move across the country next week;
  • Hubby and I will not have to live separately.
I am now off to my insanely long to-do-before-moving list.

Thanks everyone!

MadHatter - moving with furniture is a lot of work... I will be glad when it is over!

Cath - I am acquiring a better climate; its may not be Hawaii, but I don't think I will have any room to complain :)
