Tentatively, Hubby and I have summer plans that, once again, involve moving (together, thankfully). But for a really long time now, we've been waiting for these plans to be finalized. How is one to plan their (limited, grad-student) finances when things are still up in the air? How does one schedule the move when the exact start date is unknown? How does one arrange for a place to live (only sort-of important) when one doesn't know when/where one will be? How does one wrap up ongoing things when the clock is ticking but it is unknown when the buzzer will go off?
I might not be any closer to having answers for these questions now than I was weeks ago, but one thing is for sure: we are running around with our heads cut off.

Well that sounds really frustrating! Is there anyone "important" you can contact to put some pressure on the program from the other side?
Do you have any blogger friends in the place you are going who could help you out?
Rebecca - the person in charge of the program just changed, so it seems that the whole program is in flux. We know they are trying to be helpful, but things are moving even slower than usual.
EGF - I don't think so, but some of the people we know IRL have been quite helpful. We know it will all get resolved eventually, just not at a pace we expected.
Are you going to the same place you were last summer??
Yes, and I do hope our paths cross again :)
That sucks. Hope you get some more details soon!
