Last few weeks have been rough as I had a lot of hurdles to jump through, all completely uncaffeinated. Then Hubby and I crammed in a long drive from Grad School State to New State (getting our second vehicle out here as our schedules will become more complicated, requiring an ability to go to work separately). Now I have less than a week to catch up with work here before I take off again for a week for a conference. Oh, and I am supposed to be writing for InaDWriMo! Yikes.
Someone asked me if I have celebrated the advancement to candidacy by going out for a drink. Um, no? Not only a drink is out of question, but I have not had a chance to sit down and really process what has happened. It still feels kind of surreal. I know some sort of celebration is in order, but all I really want is some sleep.
P.S. Somewhere in this spin cycle, I have passed my 2nd bloggiversary. It is hard to believe that I have known some of you for that long, and how many new friends came along the way!

Happy 2nd blogiversary! We started blogging about the same time, I think--I've reached my second year (of semi-regular) blogging, too!
And I've only now been catching up on some blog reading... and only just learned that you and your husband are expecting! Congratulations!!! Awesome, and welcome soon to the ranks of the science-mommy bloggers!
The bean-mom - yeah we seem to have a clan that started all around the same time :)
And, thank you, and thanks for the warm welcome :)
Happy belated blogiversary!
