The little one seems to be most content when I am on the move - running or walking seems to do the trick. It is when I sit still for a longer while, that I see the most kicking and bouncing off the walls. In a long but interesting seminar today, I had the pleasure of watching my lanyard name tag bounce off my belly.
Perhaps the little one didn't think the seminar was all that interesting?
On another note, Braxton Hicks are quite an experience. Without a warning, my belly turns into a rock, and more often then not it catches me off guard. I guess the muscle's got to practice, but can't it tell I am trying to sleep at 2am?

Wow...apparently I missed some big news during my blogging hiatus. Congratulations!!! When are you due? Girl or boy? Awesome news!
About a week before he was born, I was leaning against the table with my belly up against a bowl of soup, which my son kicked over. I guess it was a sign of things to come. He's always been.... shall we say... rambunctious.
MH - aw yes, these particular news have been occupying a major portion of my life already, even though I am not due for another 6 weeks! I am yet to reveal the gender on the blog - I will try to do so before you disappear on us again ;)
Makita - ha-ha! I sometimes suspect I have a future soccer player in there, but this little one is yet to spill any soup!
I'll be sure to stick around for the announcement, then! :-)
