I have just returned from the Baby Shower EcoGeoFemme so kindly threw for me, and let me tell you: it was a blast!
You ladies made me tear up from all the attention and feeling spoiled! You'll have to excuse me if I have also eaten all of the ice-cream that was supposed to go with those cupcakes; you wouldn't hold it against the pregnant lady, would you? ;)
Thank you everyone for taking the time to write such thoughtful and supportive posts; it means the world to me. I will be keeping these bookmarked and handy for when I need some reassurance, advice, or just a laugh. It's been an amazing experience to see how many bloggers took the time to write for me! I am simply in awe.
And of course, special thanks to the wonderful hostess who made it all possible, from the very idea to the memorable implementation! EcoGeoFemme, I can't thank you enough for doing this for me!
And keep those guesses coming, be it in kilograms or pounds! It is only appropriate for this little one who will grow up with multiple languages and unit preferences around her :)

Oh Sciencegirl, happy baby shower and congrats again on the little one inside you. Glad to hear you enjoyed the party!
You're welcome! I had fun putting it together, and I'm so glad you enjoyed reading the synthesis and all the wonderful posts that went into it. The number of posts this generated was awesome, which just goes to show what a well-liked and respected blogger you are!
Good luck in labor and delivery, which must be any day now, right?
The bean-mom - thanks, I enjoyed it tremendously!
EGF - thanks again for the party and the well wishes. And yes, any day now would be great (I think the fact that I am waiting for something I should be rather afraid of means it will be soon now. Right?!?)
Am I already too late? 3.1kg. And, remember, when they say "don't push now", and you feel like you really, really want to push, still, don't push. Trust me. It's exhausting and hard, but by far the better choice.
SG, I am sorry I haven't written a post yet. I am terrible. You know, maybe instead of delaying because I am so worried about writing a good post, I'll just do a long comment here.
I have no motherhood experience, but I can only wish you and your newly growing family the very best. I wish I had more pithy things to say, and that's probably why I haven't written a full-blown post...but I think we all know your little one is going to grow up loved, and going to grow up loving science, and that's something we can all cheer for!!!
Congratulations SG, and I guess the baby will be 8lbs, 3 oz.
Oh wow, unanswered comments! And 2 more entries for baby birth weight guesses that I didn't take into consideration - sorry about that! After a quick look, both Fia and PhizzleDizzle were close, but Chall stands as a winner!
Fia - although I didn't post a reply, I saw your advice to not push when I am told not to; that was really good advice, thanks!
PhizzleDizzle - thank you for your kind words! And I hope this blog stays alive long enough for me to share the Little One's first steps in science some day!
