Occasionally, I get reminders that the World is not standing still while I have been extracted from it. The iPad and new iPhone OS have been released, the Euro has hit a new low, the tax incentive on buying homes is about to expire, and
the President of Poland has died in a plane crash. Oh, and my medical bills are coming in; perhaps that health reform was passed a little too late?

I Want an iPad for nursing. Very much.
I hope you get it! Although, is it too big to hold with one hand? I also hope the batteries on it last; I seem to be charging my iPod touch all the time, perhaps because I use it as a night light when the Little One whimpers at night, and read things while nursing (which is multiple hours a day alone!).
Did your student health insurance cover your maternity costs?
Karina - my student health insurance required me to go to a nurse on campus before any visit to any doctor, and since I am currently in a different state than my school, I had to get another insurance instead. It was very difficult to get this all arranged, and extremely expensive, but certainly worth it for pregnancy. Oh, and it remains to be seen how much will remain on my tap when all is said and done - 3+ months later, not everything is resolved yet!
