4:30 am - Dovie is up cranky; send in Hubby.
6:30 am - ignore alarm clock.
7:00 am - Dovie is up; first blowout/bath. Breakfast/cleanup/caffeine.
8:00 am - Hubby leaves for work.
8:30 am - discover that Dovie now knows how to work zippers! Pump parts everywhere. Despite protests, confiscate pump bag.
9:00 am - finally looking at those reviews (due today!) with one eye while keeping the second eye on fast crawling Dovie.
9:30 am - Second blowout/bath for the day** (seriously, kid!)
10:00 am - these 'congressional summaries' are some of the funniest ones I have seen yet. How can one possibly explain a science proposal to lay people in a 2-line sentence?
10:15 am - feed Dovie.
10:45 am - Dovie down for nap. Maximum expected nap time = 1.5 hours x2 = 3 hours = an hour per review. Recaffeinate, turn off email, get cracking!
12:00 pm - Dovie is up. Reviews
12:15 pm - feed Dovie, scrounge up some left overs.
1:00 pm - On Dovie's agenda: playing with outlet covers and door stops. Give up on working while chasing Dovie and take her outside; think 'productive' thoughts for the 2nd nap.
2:00 pm - super cranky Dovie. 3rd blowout/bath of the day (that explains the extra crankieness!). Feed Dovie.
3:20 pm - finally down for 2nd nap. Back to the reviews!
4:00 pm - Written 1.5/3 reviews; beg Hubby to leave work early (despite getting there late) to let me finish reviews; he bargains for another 30 min to finish his own paper review first.
4:30 pm - Dovie refuses to continue napping, but plays peacefully so I can continue working for a bit. 2/3 reviews down.
5:15 pm - feed Dovie.
5:30 pm - Hubby gets home. Blowout/bath #4! (this is almost an Olympic record for us here! Lets hope this rounds off the crankieness and we get some sleep tonight.)
6:00 pm - Start laundry. Nuke pre-made dinner; eat.
6:30 pm - Get back to the damn reviews.
7:30 pm - night routine with Dovie.
8:30 pm - Get back to the damn reviews.
10:00 pm -
* We can only afford daycare 3 days/week, so Hubby and I each

Wow, this sounds tough. It's great that you both have the flexibility to regularly work at home, but working at home sounds really hard!
When I read "first blowout/bath" I thought "uh oh". Hope the weekend is better!
my heart sank knowingly as well, when you said first bath/blowout of the day. Like Micro Dr.O, I hope the weekend treats you better
